The Global Fund announces record funding to fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria.

Following the replenishment of the Global Fund in October 2019, funding allocations for 2020-2022 were announced this week. This announcement included the highest ever funding for HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria. The funding allocated for TB exceeds 12 billion USD equivalent, with over 1 billion allocated to the Asia-Pacific region for the three years.
Countries eligible to receive funding for TB where the TB-CRE has pre-existing projects includes India, Indonesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Vanuatu, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, Viet Nam, and many other countries in our region.
