Dr. Simone Barry is a respiratory physician at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Head of the South Australian Tuberculosis Service. She serves as the state representative on the National TB Advisory Committee, providing expert advice to the Australian Government on TB prevention and control. Simone is also the Chair of the Respiratory Infectious Diseases Interest Group of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ). She holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Harvard and a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Her PhD focused on microRNA as a TB biomarker.
