Policy Development

We are seeking to translate new evidence into national and global policy and practice. We are working with national, regional and global bodies we will develop new global policies and conducting research to overcome barriers to scale-up in Australia and the region. Our researchers contribute to global guidance from World Health Organization, as a part of a Collaborating Centre for Tuberculosis at the University of Sydney.

Our strong engagement at the national, global and regional level will enable the CRE to apply new knowledge to directly influence national and global TB policies. Within Australia, We will guide national policy development for Australia’s upcoming 2026-2030 Strategic Plan for TB control, through senior representation on the National TB Advisory Committee.
