The McGill Summer Institutes feature internationally known faculty, practical knowledge, and networking with global health professionals. These short, non-credit courses attract a diverse group, including industry leaders, NGOs, academics, researchers, and advocacy members.

Launched in 2015, the McGill Summer Institute brings the expertise of McGill University and the McGill University Health Centre-Research Institute through short courses. This year, the McGill TB Centre will sponsor registration fees for both in-person and online courses!

Persons working in low/middle income countries and/or working with indigenous populations will be able to have registration fees covered by the Centre for one TB-related course offered by the Institute from the following list:

  • Qualitative Methods in Global Infectious Diseases Research

  • Engaging all health providers to end TB: Public-Private Mix (PPM)

  • Nutrition and Tuberculosis

  • Advanced TB Diagnostics

  • TB Research Methods (IN-PERSON)

  • TB Research Methods (ONLINE)

Please note that the TB Centre will only cover registration fees and not other expenses for in-person courses.

If interested, email McGill TB Centre (mcgilltbcentre@gmail.com) with your name, affiliation, and course of interest. The Centre will sponsor 10 in-person registrations and all online registrations. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
