TB CRE Investigator Dr Thu Anh Nguyen is the plenary speaker for this years' Sydney Vietnam Research Symposium. Dr Nguyen is a senior consultant for UNAIDS Asia – Pacific region where she supports countries to develop investment case for ending HIV and AIDS.

About the event
The Sydney Vietnam Initiative welcomes researchers, educators and students from across all faculties and schools with an interest in Vietnam to a half day symposium. With the support from the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre and the University of Sydney Business School the symposium will :
- Showcase ongoing collaborative research being undertaken by University academics in Vietnam
- Explore opportunities for new cross-disciplinary collaborations in research and education
- Discuss plans to strengthen the University's engagement with Vietnam
