We are delighted to celebrate Thi Mai Nguyen, recipient of the RAPID CRE PhD Scholarship, on the publication of her review, "Molecular diagnostic tests for isoniazid-resistant tuberculosis: a scoping review."

Thi Mai and colleagues systematically reviewed the rapidly expanding landscape of molecular diagnostic tests for isoniazid-resistant tuberculosis, the most common form of drug-resistant TB and an important driver of multidrug-resistant disease. Drawing on 238 studies published between 2000 and 2024, the review highlights promising advances in diagnostic technologies while identifying ongoing challenges around cost, complexity, and accessibility in resource-limited settings. The findings provide important evidence to guide test development, implementation, and policy decisions worldwide.
