TB-CRE Investigator Steve Graham works with WHO to develop 18 recommendations for TB preventative therapy.
On the 24th of March, the WHO published online new consolidated guidance on TB preventative therapy. The guidelines aim to prevent the progression of those infected with TB to active TB, thus minimising the latent TB reservoir in a population. The handbook aims to provide practical advice on how to put in place the recommendations at the scale needed to achieve national and global impact.
